Prior to joining Colorectal Surgical Associates, Ann was employed as a cardiac nurse for 6 years at Saint Luke’s Hospital. She served on several committees while at St. Luke’s which were concerned with providing better patient care and outcomes. She also worked as an NP in primary care before joining CSA in 2021.
Ann chose the colorectal field because it requires a profound level of compassion and empathy toward patients. She receives fulfillment from knowing that her actions and expertise can positively impact someone’s health and wellbeing. Whether it’s providing a diagnosis, alleviating pain, or offering guidance, the opportunity to positively impact someone’s life is very rewarding.
Ann maintains professional memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. She is also PTA treasurer for her son’s school.
During her leisure time, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, fishing, and sampling new foods.
